Aren’t we all feeling a bit nostalgic when it comes to icon denim brands?!? Many of us have the best memories when wearing a certain brand in high school or in college… first date, night out with BFF, and so many more.
Wrangler definitely is one of the biggest and oldest denim brands out here. After a few decades of low profile, they have joined the club of “comeback brands”, so to speak. The jeans have always been available in lower-end stores, but now they are aiming once again for an upgrade by re-modeling their icon denims according to today’s fit and taste.
And it all kind of started with the renowned Bohemian Rhapsody movie, when Freddie Mercury (aka Rami Malek) killed us all with his uber sexy Wrangler jeans!
Wrangler has been on my radar ever since then and when I found out about their Contrast Hem High Waist Flare Jeans, I totally fell for them.
The jeans are made of heavier stretch denim with the Wrangler trademark orange contrast stitching, featuring a big two-tone flare and exposed buttons. Playful, and at the same time, super sexy. The darker wash inset at the flare makes your legs look longer and leaner. The inseam is about 33 inches, which is fine for us on the shorter side to wear with platforms or heels. And it works well for the taller ladies with flats or low heel booties as well.
