Still Here is a New York brand which we had discovered only recently while out searching for new denim. A brand that called our attention for their very interesting and super cute embellishments, mainly some colorful stripes or embroideries at the back of the legs.
The styles are vintage-based straight legs with a higher rise, there are no rips and no distressing. They are a clean and basic style – BUT for the embellishments. What I love about them is that normally, I am pretty horrified by what I see of embellished jeans – way too over and over-board (think fake crystal embroidered back pockets, you get the drift!).
So this is why I am really stoked with the Still Here collections, embellished, but still very do-able, not too overdone and not merely meek. These are exactly the jeans I’d wear when I want to call attention or stand out in a denim-clad crowd.
“Still Here denim stays true to the timeless fit, wash, and wear while incorporating creative an unique embellishments. Each pair of vintage-inspired jeans possesses a mark of handwork, such as signature hand painted stripes and hand guided chainstitch embroidery. Designed in New York City and sustainably produced in Los Angeles, Still Here is forging a new future for denim by bringing novelty and consciousness to a seasoned industry.”
Yes, definitely a very rad and edgy way to be fashionable, trendy, and sustainable at the same time.
