Selvedge jeans are a definite must-have staple for any denimhead and denim lover.
Unfortunately, selvedge denim is frequently associated with raw, dark blue denim and very high prices, and so we went ahead to prove that both conceptions are absolutely a myth.
Of course you can find selvedge jeans for steep prices, the same way you can buy regular, non-selvedge jeans for anywhere between $20 and $1000. And of course you can find selvedge jeans in raw and unwashed denim, but you can also find some very amazing selvedge jeans that are ripped, destructed, and destroyed. Just saying!
And another thing: some think that when it comes to selvedge then it’s all about rigid, 100% cotton. Well, not anymore. Lots of great selvedge jeans out there do have stretch…scroll down to find out.
We chose a few super exciting and fun options for all the above-mentioned : raw, rigid and/or stretchy, expensive, reasonably priced, ripped…. just take your pick and….
