Because our latest top jean posts about the Good American as well as the Lee flares had a really huge and astonishing amount of positive feedback from our readers, I thought it would be interesting, and also quite fun, to write about another similar style.
Like one of the other icon denim brands, Lee, Wrangler has been making a strong impact these last few seasons with a super cool and modernized vintage heritage and retro collection. A comeback, if you want to call it this way.
Last year I already posted about the Wrangler’s flare in a two-tone wash, which is still going strong and extremely popular. And today – with the spring and summer season coming up soon (we hope!), it’s all about light washed, almost bleached, denim.
The Wrangler High Rise Flare is part of their Heritage collection and comes in a washed out, almost bleached, blue, with super rad insets in the same light blue wash and feature a hi-low unfinished step hem. A total vintage look.
But instead of the rigid 100% cotton jeans of former days, these do have some stretch for added comfort. Personally, even though I mostly prefer 100% cotton denim, I have to admit that just by looking at these jeans, I never would have guessed that there is some stretch involved. The denim looks exactly as it always used to – heavier weight and rather rigid.
Enjoy your Sunday and by all means – check out these really smoking hot Wrangler’s. And if flares are not really your thing, yet, you can find many other styles from their heritage and retro collection at Nordstrom, at Shopbop, and at Revolve.
