Triarchy Fringe Denim Jackets made from recycled vintage denim

The more we become aware about the harm we are afflicting to our planet (and our future) every day, the more we realize the importance of sustainable and recycled clothing, especially denim.

There is a whole crop of new denim brands, like Bluer Denim, Triarchy and Boyish, out there, based on as much sustainability as possible without sacrificing fashion, trends, and styles. And more and more of the already established denim brands, like DL1961, J Brand, and 7 For All Mankind, are changing from their old ways to more environmentally-friendly options of producing their denims.

We would also like to point out that there are shopping websites out there making a point of carrying and selling sustainable clothing, and our go-to website right now is the newly created Verishop. As we have mentioned in one of our previous posts about this site, on their drop-down menu you have the choice to shop for sustainable denim, as well as clean beauty among other environmentally-friendly options.

Oh yes, and there is one more thing: unlike earlier days when sustainable denims were quite a bit more expensive – that’s also a thing of the past. Nowadays, sustainable denim comes in super cool and even more natural looking washes for the same prices as their regularly dyed counterparts.

Check out below some of the best sustainable and recycled denims we are shopping for right now. And please, spread the word – it’s not only about what we are wearing now, but it’s also about the future of our planet.
