Continuing with our support of denim brands and denim manufacturers that are helping in any way right now, today it’s about AG Jeans.
This past Friday AG Jeans announced that they have made a $1 million donation to the Covid-19 LA County Response Fund. The money goes to clinics and hospitals throughout L.A. County to support their ability to increase capacity, staffing and Covid-19 testing.
Additionally, the brand made a commitment to its own team: They will continue paying and providing benefits for their 2,000 employees, which include affiliate companies and retail store workers nationwide, at least through the end of April.
“In these difficult times, it is the encouragement and assistance we give and receive as a community that unifies us. Together we will rise and overcome this global challenge. In support of the community, AG is committing $1 million to COVID-19 LA County Response Fund to help support community clinics and hospitals across the county scale up capacity, staffing & implementation of COVID-19 testing. We look inward to our family as well, and have committed to continue paying and providing benefits to our approximately 2,000 employees between our affiliate companies in LA, Mexico, and each of our retail store locations.”
