unisex denim

Yes to all things – denims – unisex! We just love it when there is no definition of who should wear what jeans. As far as I am concerned, any kind of gender definition when it comes to denim is outdated – quite irritating even. Like how many of my male friends live in their women’ skinnies. And women like me that love to wear men’s jeans are increasing in numbers every time I check.

I have always loved unisex jeans, starting with the most popular pair ever, the Levi’s 501 jeans, the classic shrink-to-fit version.

Assembly is a New York store based in the heart of the East Village. The place to shop if you are a fan of not so “common” clothing and accessories.

Their unisex Antique White Jeans are so going to be part of my unisex denim collection. I love the not too bright white – the antique white is kind of in between a pristine white and and off-white. It’s such a cool wash for all of us vintage denim addicts.

The style is a loose anti-fit unisex straight leg featuring a higher waist, a button fly and the Assembly trademark re-tailored back. The denim is made of 98% Cotton / 2% Elastane. The jeans look seriously good on the dude (above) as well as on the lady (below).

And if you are wondering about the sizing XS to XL – that’s because of the unisex fit of the jeans:

Extra Small waist: 27.5″ / Small waist: 29″ / Medium waist: 30.5″ / Large waist: 32″ / Extra Large: 33″
