Tommy Hilfiger continues its fall theme of “Moving Forward Together” with the unveiling of its spring 2021 campaign. The fashion brand energizes a global community and unites for social change with a diverse cast of activists and advocates. The campaign is inspired by the idea of moving towards a better future together. Captured by different photographers in Los Angeles, London, Berlin, and Hainan, images showcase laidback and positive attitudes.
The ad- campaign stars an iconic group of activists (Indya Moore, Compton Cowboys, Jameela Jamil, Kiddy Smile, Mogli, Tom Grennan, and Monica Guo) who fight for a fairer society for everyone, that does not waste anything. Through the campaign, each talent shares their stories and activist experiences to inspire everyone to forge a better future.
First up, Tommy Hilfiger introduces us to the horse-riding Compton Cowboys, a group of ten friends who come together officially in 2017 to provide a positive activity for youth in their community. The mentors believe that “it’s important to teach the kids the life skills that will help them develop themselves and become good people.”
The campaign also features British singer-songwriter and community activist Tom Grennan. “Community means everything to me,” says the singer. “Like, my community changed my life, d’you know what I mean?”
DJ, dancer, and activist Kiddy Smile makes a splash in bold colors. After all, the entertainer shares, “Being who you truly are, you will at some point find yourself becoming the example you were missing while growing up.”
Jameela Jamil (U.K.): Actor, radio presenter, model, writer and body positivity activist who founded the “I Weigh” platform and podcast as a safe and inclusive space for all women.
