Just in case you haven’t met this brand already:
German-born Lutz Huelle is a fashion designer based in Paris. In 1995 he went to work as a design assistant for Martin Margiela. Three years later Lutz, along with partner David Ballu, launched his eponymous label.
If anyone needs a visual explanation of what a smart-casual dress code means, they need look no further than Lutz Huelle’s spring collection, titled “La Nuit,” which recasts the definition of an outing as something that shouldn’t be limited to a particular occasion or time of day. The idea? “Saying that we want to go out, have fun, dress up, but do we need eveningwear [for that],” he said at a preview.
One thing we like about this collection is that Lutz Huelle leans towards genderless. He is telling the men and women that either can wear either outfit and that there is no “gender restriction”!
We also would like to point out the fabulous and certainly eye-catching tops nodding to football jerseys and t-shirts with taffeta puffs at the cuffs.
