Not only are the newest Mother jeans super cool, but they are also made with sustainability in mind! Their collaboration with NET SUSTAIN x Carolyn Murphy consists of nine pieces, including a couple of patchwork jeans and a denim skirt among others. All of the products were locally made and designed for circularity.
The Tomcat distressed patchwork high-rise straight-leg jeans come with two different patches and are available exclusively at NET-A-PORTER and sell for $320.
“Carolyn Murphy’s collaboration with MOTHER is all about upcycling – “It was incredible to spend time at local rag houses and see how much excess there is, and to work with MOTHER to find ways to repurpose and give it new life,” she says. A distressed take on ‘The Tomcat’, these jeans are cut from ripped, frayed and whiskered denim and patchworked with a quilted contrast. They sit high on the waist, have relaxed straight legs and fall just short of the ankles. The patterned panels are made from cotton offcuts, so each pair is unique.”

The denim skirt ($285) is asymmetrically cut and paneled from re-purposed denim. It has a stepped hem and raw edging along the back vent.
