Glenn Martens’s first fashion show as the new Diesel creative director and designer is giving us major chills – in a good way.

Diesel is breathing “heritage newness” in every sense. My impression, totally, is that Diesel is going back to what the brand originally stood for: distressed, ripped, destroyed and avant-garde denim – back in time! And in a good way. As a matter of fact a big part of the denim styles are from the DIESEL Library.

The DIESEL Library is all about the evergreen, with essential pieces of denim clothing that are here to stay. Created by using responsible methods in designs that transcend trends. In other words: lifelong denim.

As Martens point out: “It’s pure DIESEL. You need to put it on in two seconds and live your life. For Successful Living!”
