denim overalls

Christian Siriano staged his fall 2022 collection on the concourse level of the Empire State Building this past February. Not only did he show his fabulous haute couture creations, but he also included denim. And just on a by-note – the runway show featured some of the looks in regular as well as in plus sizes – KUDOS to Siriano!

For those of you who don’t know it already, Siriano had partnered with one of the earliest denim designers, think 1970/80, Gloria Vanderbilt, known as the “denim queen” in the fashion world.

“I’m so excited and honored to work with a brand that’s been around for such a long time. I grew up watching my mom wear Gloria Vanderbilt jeans in the 80s, one of the many reasons I am excited about this collaboration. The brand has always been known for representing diverse, powerful women and I look forward to continuing that tradition.”

Gloria Vanderbilt, now owned by the One Jeanswear Group dresses women in jeans and is sold by retailers including Amazon, Kohl’s, Macy’s, among many others.

Tis coming September the brand will launch the first styles from its two-year partnership with Siriano – a contemporary take on archival designs that includes jeans, dresses and tops available in sizes 26-34, as well as petite and extended sizing. Expect to see embroideries, patchwork and, of course, the brand’s signature swan emblem.

Below you can find some of the denim looks that will be included in this capsule.
