Kim Bekker’s first standalone Isabel Marant Spring 2027 menswear collection wasn’t a denim-heavy show. But the denim that was included perfectly reflected the brand’s effortless, well-traveled aesthetic.

The collection was built around the idea of a man who has “picked things up” from places like Ibiza, Seoul, Los Angeles, and Tangiers, resulting in clothes that feel lived-in rather than overly styled.

The collection centered on straight-leg denim, avoiding both exaggerated bagginess and ultra-skinny fits.

And there is neither super dark raw denim nor aggressive distressing. The washes felt naturally broken in, with soft mid-blue indigo featuring minimal whiskering and gentle wear patterns.

Isabel Marant’s Spring 2027 menswear collection doesn’t chase novelty. Instead, it reinforces a commercial direction that sits between luxury tailoring and everyday wear.

Marant offers one of the clearest examples of wearable luxury denim. Timeless silhouettes, understated washes, and versatile styling that feels effortless rather than trend-driven.

The Isabel Marant Spring/Summer 2026 collection wasa perfect continuation of the brand’s signature Parisian boho identity. Albeit with a rougher edge.

Denim centered on “intentional imperfection”. Like faded indigo, distressed embroidery, washed blues, slim worn-in jeans, and early-2010s Parisian cool revived through a softer, more lived-in lens.

Creative director Kim Bekker leaned heavily into the brand’s heritage denim language rather than futuristic experimentation.

One of the standout details was subtle embroidery running through distressed denim seams rather than heavy embellishment. The treatment looked handcrafted and intentionally aged.

We’ve noticed a lot of reds in this collection. There were red colored jeans, or light=wash jeans paired with red tops and jackets.

And lots of leathers in black and burgundy:

And last, but not least, there was definitely a tendency towards low or maybe lower-rise jeans.

White jeans used to be summer casual. But over the past years, they have certainly become a denim staple for every season.

And they’re replacing heavily distressed blue jeans for lots of denim people this season.

On a side-note: As for wearing white jeans in winter – just let me tell you there’s nothing more fun than pairing them with boots and heavy knit oversized sweaters. But that’s just to remind you how cool you can look in whites even when it’s freeing out.

Now back to this Spring and Summer whites.

The styling has changed completely from the old ultra-tight vacation skinny jean era. The new white denim mood is relaxed, polished, minimalist, and also somewhat more expensive-looking.

Key styles are the relaxed straight and wide-legs. But be aware of the fact that volume is controlled, not exaggerated. Very aligned with the broader Spring 2026 shift away from chaotic oversized denim.

Isabel Marant’s Fall 2025 Menswear Collection embodies a harmonious blend of bohemian influences and rock-inspired aesthetics, capturing the essence of nonchalant artistry.

The collection features paint-splattered faded denim, tailored pieces juxtaposed with generous knits, and a palette that transitions from ecru and beige to khaki, rust, deep grey, black, and accents of pink. Signature items include puffy jackets with distinctive panels, brushed mohair sweaters, and baroudeur pants. The collection also revisits 70s French icons with tennis-striped flannels and nods to the 80s through exaggerated shoulders on patinated leather overshirts.

Returning from the art studio, Isabel Marant’s FW25 man wears his craft across his clothing. Like – as mentioned above – paint splatter so seeped into his faded denim it becomes vivid decoration. The “nonchalant spirit and carefree essence” of an artist in full flow directs this season’s collection, mixed with the house’s hard-wired rock ‘n’ roll attitude and bohemian influences. Western workwear tropes inform baggy jeans, carpenter pants, denim shirts, and brushed mohair knitwear illustrated with vivid geometric patterns, while French workwear influences pinstripe tailoring and classic twill blue jacket silhouettes.

Focused on neutrals and blacks, this collection is simple and clean on one hand. But also gives the Marant man great options to compose his own personal style.
