Patchworks and camos – those were the first impressions we got when previewing Acne Studios spring 2024 men’s looks.
And also worth mentioning is the fact that when Acne first launched, they used to be all about “clean” and stark denim, rather more inclined to classic cuts and styles. Definitely not so anymore. Actually, this spring 2024 collection has a pretty cool bad boy vibe!
Jonny Johansson’s customary eclecticism escalated to new heights. The central route of this worn itinerary was directed around his personal obsession with denim, a fabric that wears its use, experience, and movement like a diary. The designer created raw undyed denim jeans that were printed with a collaged patchwork of his own vintage pieces, creating a sort of meta-vintage mélange.

Also included were studded garment dyed dungarees, swimwear with sexually competitive messaging (see image above), and a leather wrap skirt.
