So ok, I never get baffled, or surprised, or even slightly concerned about any kind of fashion look, style, or trend. Well, anything – or rather, nothing!
But above, the Acne Studios‘ look from their Spring 2025 collection really made me stop in my tracks! Like wow if I’d see some guy dressed like this walking up the street in real life! Oh and there’s one more… see below!
Well, other than that, let’s just say that Acne Studio has come a long way from being a rather clean and minimalistic denim brand to their badass collections nowadays. Not to say that we are against evolution – at all, very much au contraire. We wholeheartedly support and applaud any kind of evolution.
But here’s the thing. It’s like when you start off as – let’s say – a swimwear brand, And then, years later your collection is all about tailored suits. Doesn’t it kind of feel like – but wait, wasn’t this brand all about swimwear when we first noticed them?
Point being – I miss the old Acne Studio collections which used to have simple but most innovative denim styles. I remember way back their slightly oversized and a bit drop-crotch boyfriend jeans…
