G-Star RAW and Walter Van Beirendonck have teamed up for an innovative capsule collection titled “Denim with Balls”.
This collaboration debuted just now at the menswear Paris Fashion Week Men’s. The capsule will be released in selected stores worldwide in February 2025.
Walter Van Beirendonck is a prominent figure in the fashion world and a member of the legendary Antwerp Six (Belgium’s six most influential Avant-Garde fashion designers). The collaboration brings his signature vibrant colors and mix of patterns. The designs definitely showcase his innovative craftsmanship. The collection also aligns with G-Star’s commitment to sustainable fashion, using certified cradle-to-cradle denim fabrics.
The collection is characterized by its avant-garde approach to denim, utilizing unconventional construction methods. Like gluing and taping instead of traditional stitching. This 19-piece collection includes bold designs like the Square Jeans, Wader Jeans, and Future Proof Jacket, featuring embossed dots and 3D-knitted tops with slogans like ‘Future Proof’ and ‘Stitch Less’.
