If You Love Anything Vintage – Mister Freedom

Mister Freedom was founded in 2003 by French-born vintage-aficionado Christophe Loiron.

The brand began as a vintage retail store and atelier in Los Angeles. The shop at 7161 Beverly Blvd houses not only their in-house collections but also a large curated inventory of vintage clothing, textiles, accessories, and ephemera, sometimes dating back to the 19th century.

And from the early days of vintage hunting and reselling, Loiron expanded into designing original garments under the Mister Freedom label. Not mere reproductions, but new pieces inspired by history.

Essentially, Mister Freedom is equal parts antique-style curation (a vintage-store archive) and a modern brand that channels historical style through new and modern fit garments.

As for the denim, the brand uses high-quality, often heritage-grade selvedge or stock denim, not mass-market stretch blends.

MF collaborates with Japanese experts Sugar Cane and Toyo Enterprises for selvedge denim, vintage-style fabrics, and the production takes place both in Japan and the USA.

The denim cuts and details are vintage-inspired. Meaning the jeans have character, from stitching and pocket designs to their leather patches and hardware.

You can have shop for Mister Freedom clothing on their website, as well as in many retail stores all over the world.
