Once again Ralph Lauren is showing his love for denim. Yep, denim is going to be part of the USA Olympic team in Paris.
This year’s U.S. Olympians and Paralympians will wear jeans and moto jackets by Ralph Lauren during this year’s opening and closing ceremonies in Paris. The team be doing so in navy blazers and vintage blue jeans.
According to the brand, the Olympics collection was created with sustainability and responsibility in mind. Some pieces are made with recycled polyester, others with Responsible Wool Standard wool.
The opening ceremony outfits feature jeans paired with a navy blue, wool, double-breasted blazer trimmed in white and red. These will have the Ralph Lauren logo featured in the left chest area. Finishing off the uniform, the athletes will sport a navy-and-white-striped oxford shirt. A chic and patriotic palette of red, white, and blue.
The closing ceremony look includes a white moto-style jacket with red, white and blue detailing and white jeans.
“Ralph Lauren is profoundly honored to define the look of the American delegation. These athletes represent our country in one of the world’s most celebrated and storied events,” said David Lauren, Ralph Lauren’s son and the corporation’s chief branding and innovation officer.
