Dhruv Kapoor – Fluid Spring 2025 Collection

Dhruv Kapoor’s spring 2025 collection is definitely worth checking out. And for those of you who are not yet familiar with this brand – let us introduce:

Delhi-based Kapoor, who has among others, worked at Etro. He’s received many awards, among them the Vogue India Fashion Fund award in 2015. As well as the Young Designer Award by Camera della Moda, Italy in 2019. He has also received nominations for the International Woolmark Prize.

Kapoor has over the years emerged as an Indian designer well suited to the global stage. While his success in Japan comes as no surprise, he has been creating a multiverse, dipping into many cultures, with show titles like Soul-Tech and The Embracer.

The designer’s collection at Milan Fashion Week Spring 2025 celebrated both childlike insouciance and the concept of oneness. Included are some quite interesting upcycled denims and textured faux leather. Hyper brights with dull neutrals, or a playful combination of giant and petite. Almost all are gender-fluid, as we have now come to expect from the designer.

It is a collection that blurred the borders between youth and adulthood. The models, both women and men, had clearly rummaged into their mums and dads’ wardrobes. And into those of their elder siblings too, as suggested by the oversized pants. Or the skirts with their dropping waistbands.

Below you can check out the collections denims as well as the video of the complete show.

You can shop for Dhruv Kapoor clothing from the spring/summer collection at Anthropology and at HBX.
