Philipp Plein has always been known for his dramatic shows, and his Milan Men’s Fashion Week debut, which took place at the glittering newly opened Plein hotel, did not disappoint.
The German fashion designer and entrepreneur has built the Philipp Plein International Group, encompassing his eponymous clothing brand, Plein Sport, the men’s high-end tailoring Billionaire brand. And most recently, The Plein Hotel in Milan.as a reflection of himself and his celebratory lifestyle.
Highlights were the sequined destructed jeans worn with a tuxedo jacket (image above), and a literally star studded leather jacket.
Plein’s take on double denim: a paint-splotched denim outfit winked at the forever-beloved “workman” aesthetic with both glamor and swagger.
Also note worthy – the juxtaposition elegant gungy pairing of a tartan coat worn over a grey denim shirt and sweatpants.
And looks like logo-mania is going to be a thing again!
