So here’s a perfect new combo which just launched this week: Salomon and New York City-based designer Sandy Liang are back with a new sneaker project. For their third collaboration, Liang has injected her distinctive feminine aesthetic onto the XT-Whisper model.
Sandy Liang and Salomon collaborated on the XT-Whisper sneaker, a design that seamlessly blends technical streetwear with Sandy Liang’s distinctive style. This collaboration marks their third partnership, introducing the XT-Whisper in a pink colorway inspired by the stainless steel elements of Sandy Liang’s store, accented with her signature pops of pink.
Liang’s reworking of the Whisper leans into the cool girl imprint’s love of the pastel palate, with the silhouette dipped in an all-over feminine soft pink hue. Silver details elevate the sleek design, with the Whisper’s signature technical attributes – its wavy Sensifit ™ application and its Quicklace lacing system.
The collection is available in unisex sizing for purchase as of January 16th at the NYC Orchard Street store and online for $150. A wider launch will take place on January 23 at Salomon.com and at select Salomon stockists.
