Yeah, we hear you —- pandemic —- everyone getting used to sweats and hey, what happened to our favorite jeans? Well, that was a good few years ago, And we’ve all gone back/moved on to our eternally beloved denim. Back to feeling the luxurious touch of denim fabric against our skin, independent of comfort or whatever you called it during our “stay-at-home” days.
What’s a little discomfort compared to the exciting feeling of looking hot in your super skinnies.
Also, for the past few seasons – and not going anywhere soon – the extreme uber-sized trend has been taking over the fashion world, especially when it comes to denim. So, honestly, why not go for a pair of baggy real denim jeans if you are looking for comfort? Just saying.
But, as we all know, in fashion the come-back issue is a thing. And right now, Good American launched a – yet to be judged by your denimologists – comeback moment for sweats. “Looks like denim, feels like sweats” is what this capsule is about and, honestly, do you also get that Déjà vu feel? Or are you ready to go there again?
Good American’s Jeanius Sweats are part of “The Cotton Collection,” a curation of cotton garments in collaboration with Cotton Incorporated. The not-for-profit organization funded by U.S. cotton growers first linked up with Good American in 2021 to curate an assortment of elevated basics and quality denim that showcase the comfort and versatility of cotton.
“Cotton is excited to collaborate with Good American”, said Marissa Barlin, Cotton Incorporated’s director of brand partnerships. “Good American has a focus on making comfort and supporting every woman’s ‘new normal’—and with cotton at the forefront of comfort, there is a natural synergy between the brands. Similarly, we admire Good American’s commitment to size inclusivity and are proud to collaborate on a collection that features silhouettes designed for every body.”
Available in sizes XS-5XL, the collection retails for $55-$109 and is available to purchase on the Good American website.
